sorry for the delay

Things have been a bit crazy and I hope to now get back on track in all aspects of my life. It has been a rough past year but I know I can move forward.

Scott will be turning 7 this sunday!! O MY!! This past saturday David and I together took him and Cierra as well as my niece Courtney to Chuck E. Cheese. We had loads of fun. We are having cake and ice cream here saturday and some of his friends over to play wii. I hope to remember to take pics and post them after it's over.

Gotta run for now but I promise to keep you posted on the happenings here in Indiana!!

Hugs to all

Got the girls all fitted

Well tonight was a 3 hour practice and I got almost all the girls fitted into uniforms. I had my camera but do you think I remembered to take any photos!! GEESH!! I will try to post some soon of the new squad (all 20 of them!!!!) Our season begins in 2 weeks and I sure hope that we will be ready.

Scott enjoyed practice tonight as he got to show off his basketball dribbling skills and the girls oohed and awed over him. Courtney was there also so he had someone to run around the school with. (hope they didn't do anything I should know about)

That's it for tonight. I will try to post more photos soon.

hugs to all

O what a week!!

I am so glad this week is over!! Scott started off the week in the principals office!! Then the state surveyor showed up to survey the home I manage (which lasted 3 LONG days) . Those were extremely stressfull along with 2 lengthy cheer practices this week. GEESH!!! I am worn out and so is Scott. He has discovered "things" to do and get into at the junior high so he now likes to attend cheer practice....lol The girls all love and fawn all over him so he just eats it up. This week was nice as my niece Kylie has been teaching the 8th graders a dance and Lacey (a co-workers daughter in college)came to work with the 7th graders and help teach the basics. The girls love have each of them attend practice so we are having lots of fun.

Scott got a digital camera tonight (which is charging now) so plan to see some of his work soon!! He has been BEGGING for his own camera for some time and there was a cute little one on clearance last night at walmart for $9 so that's what he got. He is so excited, so we'll see how well the pics turn out.

Well that's all for now, just wanted to share how our week went. Hope yours was wonderful and less stressful than ours!! lol

take care and hugs to all

some random pics of my cheerleaders

Football season is over and now we are having try-outs for basketball. I have had such fun coaching these girls. They truely are amazing and so much fun. Scott loves to hang out with them all and of course they just fawn all over him!! Congrats girls to a great season!!!

Trick or Treat at the college

Last night it was trick or treat night at the college. Scott is BEN 10 this year and had lots of fun!! He decorated 2 different pumpkins and won a beanie baby stork in one of the dorms playing games. Scott was brave and also went thru one floor at the SCARY DORM....we did NOT make it through all levels....lol He was TOO SCARED!! Tomorrow night is the official trick or treat night but we only go to people we know and to the group home that I manage.

Pumpkin carving 2008

Monday night 10/27/08 David came over to assist Scott in carving his pumpkin as they do each year. After much grumping and cursing the end result was awesome!! Of course Scott chose the most difficult pattern but he and daddy got it complete and it is glowing out on the front porch.
